Boulevard is seeking a Solutions Engineer to raise the level of service, support, and guidance we’re providing our customers and prospects on our technology offerings. In close partnership with our Sales and Success team, you’ll work intimately with our mid-size and enterprise customers to architect and design solutions that will delight and speed up the time-to-value of our technology. Additionally, you’ll be a key voice for our R&D and Product functions, helping to guide roadmap prioritization and feature enhancements that will drive measurable impact in the self-care space.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thinks about continuous improvement and is active in creating repeatable processes that enable and simplify customization based on the needs of our enterprise customers. This is a crucial role for Boulevard as we continue to elevate our offerings and align our work towards the needs and voice of our customers. What You’ll Do Here:

  • Act as a strategic technical advisor to the Mid-Market/Enterprise Sales team, and our Customer Success team
  • Lead external technical discussions, demonstrations, or presentations with the prospect or customer’s executive or engineering teams.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within the prospect's organization to understand their business goals and challenges.
  • Develop customized technical solutions that align with the prospect's or customer’s specific needs.
  • Contribute technical content to RFPs, participate in proposal Q&A.
  • Create technical proposals and statements of work for prospects and customers who need custom development or development services.
  • Synthesize technical needs across mid-market and enterprise prospects and customers to understand common patterns of needs that can be articulated to our executive team.
  • Advise the product team on potential roadmap sequencing that would help us accomplish retention of our strategic accounts as well as win new enterprise business.

What You’ll Need To Thrive:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Technical Account Manager, or similar technical role.
  • Basic technical skills:
    • Rest APIs (Postman, GraphQL, …), SQL (Postgres, Snowflake) and web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
    • Have knowledge of low-code development and integration platforms (ex: Zapier)
  • Strong ability to influence multiple functions, including: Sales, CX, Product, and Engineering without authority
  • Comfortable collaborating with executive leadership both internally, and with customers.
  • Empathy and passion for the self-care industry.
  • The ability to synthesize complex technical information into easily understood business requirements.
  • Drive to create coherent and repeatable processes.
  • A competitive spirit and desire to succeed.

How We’ll Take Care Of You:

Your total cash compensation for this role is between $168,000 - $240,000 depending on your current skills, experience, training, and overall market demands. This salary range is subject to change, and there is always room for growth and advancement.
